Directions
- SEPARATE out the egg yolks and BEAT them in a large bowl.
- TRANSFER your beaten egg yolks into a bowl with condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and a dash of cinnamon. MIX well.
- ADD sugar into the flan mold and HEAT over the stovetop on low until the sugar turns to liquid and has a light brown caramel color.
- SPREAD the liquid sugar (caramel) evenly on the pan.
- After the pan cools a bit, POUR the egg yolk and milk mixture into the pan until it’s halfway full.
- PUT the pan into the water bath
- BAKE in a water bath 350⁰F for 30 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
- COOL and TOP with ladyfingers dipped in chai.
- COVER with plastic and LET SET overnight.
