Ingredients

Egg yolks
6
Sweetened condensed milk
1 can
Evaporated milk
5 oz
Vanilla
a splash
Cinnamon
a dash
Granulated sugar
1/2 cup
Ladyfingers
6 (more or less, depending on the pan size)
Chai tea
2 cups

 

Directions

  1. SEPARATE out the egg yolks and BEAT them in a large bowl.
  2. TRANSFER your beaten egg yolks into a bowl with condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and a dash of cinnamon. MIX well.
  3. ADD sugar into the flan mold and HEAT over the stovetop on low until the sugar turns to liquid and has a light brown caramel color.
  4. SPREAD the liquid sugar (caramel) evenly on the pan.
  5. After the pan cools a bit, POUR the egg yolk and milk mixture into the pan until it’s halfway full.
  6. PUT the pan into the water bath
  7. BAKE in a water bath 350⁰F for 30 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
  8. COOL and TOP with ladyfingers dipped in chai.
  9. COVER with plastic and LET SET overnight.
